Getting started
How do I get an account?
Both apps are for employees of licensed restaurant operators. Accounts are issued by your company's DOME administrator — there is no public sign-up, and an account cannot be created inside either app. Ask your general manager or regional director.
I can't sign in, or my two-factor code doesn't work
Codes come from your authenticator app and are time-based — make sure your phone's clock is set automatically. If you've lost your authenticator, your administrator can reset it.
I signed in but it says I don't have access DOME
The reporting app is currently limited to administrator and corporate accounts. Your sign-in is working — your account simply isn't in one of those groups yet. Your administrator can tell you whether access is planned for your role.
Why do I only see some of my stores?
Every screen is scoped to your account's hierarchy: you see the venues you're responsible for and nothing else. If a venue you own is missing, your administrator needs to add it to your site groups or list you as its regional contact.
Using the reporting app DOME
A number doesn't match the web report
Both read the same API, so they should agree. Three things commonly explain a difference. Comparisons are same-store — a venue that traded in only one of the two periods is excluded from the totals, and the header tells you how many stores the comparison covers. Beverage means alcohol, so a soda rung at a table counts as food. Retail is net of returns and pre-tax. If a figure still looks wrong, send us the screen, the date range and the store.
Approving a labor forecast
Open LaborIQ → Inbox. Each submission shows the manager's covers against the model and last year. Approve or decline, and add a note if you want the manager to see your reasoning. Decisions are recorded against your account.
I'm not getting notifications
Check iOS Settings → DOME → Notifications, and the notification toggle in the app's account menu. Notifications only go to accounts that have forecasts to approve. If you recently reinstalled, sign out and back in to re-register the device.
The alert badge won't clear
Read state is kept per person, not per device, so clearing an alert on your phone clears it everywhere you sign in — but not for colleagues who also cover that store. Use "Mark all read" in the Alerts toolbar to clear the whole inbox at once.
Grouping and sorting
Most report screens have a Group chip that breaks the store list into regions, each with its own subtotal. On Sales, Rank by picks which revenue line you're looking at and Sort picks the question — biggest, best against last year, or worst.
Using the floor app DOME Counts
"No store on your account is set up"
Your account isn't assigned to a store yet, or the store's inventory worksheet hasn't been received. Your administrator can assign the store; worksheets arrive automatically each morning.
Barcode scanning
Use the camera button on a count sheet, or pair a Bluetooth barcode scanner in iOS Settings → Bluetooth. The first time a barcode is scanned it's assigned to the item you pick; after that it jumps straight to the item.
Counts aren't showing in Back Office
Counts entered in the app are held in DOME until a manager approves the posting in the DOME web console. Check with your administrator if a count is waiting.
Privacy and your data
What DOME records about your usage
DOME keeps an internal record of sign-ins, the reports and questions you run — including the text you type into DOME Spark and DOMAI — and the approvals and notes you submit. This is used to operate and support the service, to keep it secure, and to improve the accuracy of answers. It is not shared outside your organization and is never used for advertising. Neither app contains third-party tracking or analytics software.
Who owns this data, and deleting your account
The operational data in DOME belongs to the organization that licenses it — your employer. To access, correct or delete your records, ask your DOME administrator, who controls that data. To have your account itself removed, ask your administrator to deactivate it or email support@tidalexploration.net and we'll remove it. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
